Bakersfield Car Club Council’s 16th annual Super Cruise Car Show

Saturday, February 25, 2012, 8am-2pm

An open invitation to all area car and motorcycle buffs to come out and enter the 16th annual BCCC Super Cruise Car Show that will be taking place (rain or shine) on Saturday, February 25, at the Kern County Fairgrounds in conjunction with the Central Valley Sportsman, Boat and RV Show.  This event is open to any year or make and cost to enter is $30 (until Feb. 13) and $35 the day of the event.  Entry forms are available at Farmer Boys on California Avenue, Zingo’s on Buck Owens Blvd., Hooters on Rosedale Hwy., Safelite Repair on White Lane, and NAPA on Belle Terrace and New Stine.  Or, you can download your entry from the below:

For entering this event, you can come out and meet members of local car clubs, participate in a Poker Walk, and possibly get your vehicle selected for a Merchant award or even Best of Show!  Event also features a 50/50, raffle and Super Raffle plus live entertainment from the surf band, The Tsunami Surfers.  The first 200 entrants will receive a goodie bag with lots of neat stuff and a commemorative event dash plaque.  Also, attending this event will also get you into the Central Valley Sportsman, Boat and RV Show absolutely FREE!  Those who come out and participate in this event will be part of helping the local Society for Disabled Children of Kern County as all proceeds from this event goes to this organization and it is one of the Society’s main fundraisers each year to keep their annual summer Camp Blue Jay available for disabled children to experience a week of camping up at Tehachapi Mountain Park.  This would not be possible without the funds that this Super Cruise event raises.

And, this event is open to the public that attend the Central Valley Sportsman, Boat & RV Show.  The public is invited to come see all the cars on display from 8am to 2pm.  The 50/50, Raffle and Super Raffle are also open to the public.  The Super Raffle will have the following up for grabs:  32” Flat Screen TV, Kevin Harvick hood, a $500 car alarm system, a Hooters golf bag, a fountain, one-night-stay & dinner for two from Tachi Hotel & Casino and a 283-piece tool box!  These items will be drawn for at 2pm.
